Now it is high time to plan for the 35th National Conference of Association of Clinical Biochemists of India (35th ACBICON 2008)!

Time flies! In December, 2008 we will all meet again during 19th – 21st and this time in Kolkata, West Bengal. Welcome to the World of Healthy Living in “ACBI Village“ (during conference) – Your visit to this village – will certainly rejuvenate your mind, body, spirit & beauty and you will realize that life is meant to be lived for a Hundred Healthy Years!!

We have invited a number of speakers who are pioneers in their respective fields. We believe that their deliberations will lead to absorbing discussions and open new vistas for the participants.

Besides tea break, lunch and dinner parties, we have arranged several social-cum-cultural programmes in which the very best of the Bengal Culture, music, food and tradition will be shared with you. These events will allow you not only to relax after a brainstorming scientific discussion but also build up new contacts and collaborations with participating delegates from neighboring countries, like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.

The corporate world has always been a source of enormous strength and support to the academicians. This conference would also ‘show-case’ the ‘state-of-the-art’ equipment and products of relevance to the general theme, in the form of an exhibition.

It is also a matter of great relevance that the 35th ACBICON is being held during concomitant Platinum Jubilee celebration of the hosting Institute Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences. Delegates attending 35th ACBICON will also be a part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration.
